During last night’s broadcast of the Lakers and Nuggets, Mark Jackson said this:
“What he has done tonight, and what he has done so far, is come out here and play the game of basketball.”
In reference to Ty Lawson’s performance.
Usually, I find a way not to listen to the two headed announcing demon of idiocy known as Jeffmark VanJacksonGundy. Last night though, I didn’t use the mute button for a change and got that beautiful gem of knowledge from Mr Jackson. By and large, Howard Cosell was absolutely on point when he said that athletes can’t any better announce games than broadcasters can step on the field and play those games. Or something like that.
I really hope Mark Jackson gets a job somewhere in the NBA soon, so he’ll stop this charade as an announcer.
