Most people (read: not Lakers fans) didn’t approve of Fisher’s assertion. What he did changed the course of the playoffs for the Lakers. Although they would go on to a 7 game win over the Rockets, after the loss to the Rockets in game 1, the Lakers were looking mighty shaky and getting pushed around a little more than was comfortable for any squad member or fan. Fish showed one and all that the indeed had the fortitude to run with the rough-and-tumble Rockets.
